Because we want to look at different ways of getting the right people into the firm the opportunity will be open to students in their second year and above studying any degree. Whilst we will still have Paralegal opportunities that require a law degree background a lot of our administration roles are more suited to non-law graduates.

Therefore, we want to give you the opportunity to see what it’s like to work for a law firm and find out more about the type of work that you may be able to undertake whether you’re a law student or are undertaking another degree. 

Cardiff 

Our Cardiff Open Day are a bit more traditional, with a focus on future Solicitor Training Contract recruitment. 

As with the Midlands we’ve taken feedback into account, and we’ve been able to update the day to provide a better opportunity for you to find out more about Geldards and what we do. 

The day will be all about getting to know the teams, see what it’s like to train at Geldards and network with potential team members. 

We hold interactive workshops, a panel with our Solicitors so you can find out more, a networking lunch attended by a range of colleagues and a panel specifically with current/past Trainees at Geldards so you can hear more about the training. 

 

We will be accepting applications from second year students and above whether you’re going down the SQE route or have already started down the LPC route, the day will be open to all. 

  

Keep an eye on our website, over the next few months we will be releasing more information about future Insight Sessions for students from 6th form to 1st year of university. 

These are still under development currently but we’re looking forward to opening the offices up and providing a half day opportunity for you to find out more!
